The SafeStore Auto Solution, a fully automated safe deposit locker solution. Initial installations were made at The SafeStore Auto Solution, a fully automated safe deposit locker solution. Initial installations were made at three branches, prior to the installation at the bank’s flagship branch in Sandton, Johannesburg. Here 6,000 lockers are housed in a basement vault which three robots deliver to customers on the ground floor.
Their Business Benefits:
Customers can now access the contents of their lockers themselves from a terminal, which dovetails with Standard Bank’s vision of more modern self-service branches. The installation also led to reduction in operating cost for the bank.
